Hi everyone, it’s great to meet you all!
I’m glad to come back into the pony community after life had kept me busy for a while!

My name is Ria, but Starbeam is perfectly fine! I’ve been a collector ever since I was reaaally small (I think since 2008)! I used to collect with my mom when I was younger (maybe 6-7 years ago??), we were active here and in the arena under an account I think was called wind-whistler or skyshine or something similar? Most I can remember is doing a small trade with skybreeze(?) and doing a swap or two, if that’s right?
Point is, I’d like to have a fresh start by myself if that’s okay! :satisfied:

I’ve currently been focusing on collecting G3 (mainly getting the ones I wanted when I was a kid!) and taking pretty pictures of my ponies when I can, but G1s will always have a special spot in my heart as they were what got me into collecting :Flutter3:
Other than collecting, I’m also a student currently working on getting my degree as a programmer/computer scientist which is also as fun as collecting ponies, except just a little more stressful!

Starbeam is one of my favorite G3s, so I decided to use her as my “mascot pony” within the community for now. I also run an instagram account dedicated to my collection under @/starbeam.dreams where I try to post a pony pic daily as well!

Can’t wait to make new pony friends and talk about silly pastel horses again! :blueheart:

Hello Ria! Nice to meet you! Starbeam is a great choice, she's gorgeous :happyhearts: I look forward to hearing more from you! Good luck with school! I personally find it tricky to find a balance between school and ponies, but I love that the MLPTP keeps me informed and involved in the community even when things get busy :snuzzle:

I was obsessed with Starbeam when she first came out. I spent a lot of time playing with her hair and she’s one of my few ponies that still have their hair styled.

Oh Starbeam is so pretty! In fact... she looks a lot like Be-bop... I hate to say it but she kind of eats Be-bop up... Ah, if I ever added Starbeam to my herd I think Be-bop would be so envious she couldn't stand it...
Anyway, lol, welcome! I'm a super new collector, it's fascinating to hear from people that have collected literally forever

Welcome back! I am also a recent returnee. It's cool that you and your mom collected together. I couldn't get my girls very excited about MLP, unfortunately, despite the fact that they were little when G3 was at its best.

Hiya Ponyville! It's definitely a bit tricky to balance both, but ponies do help me stay motivated if that makes sense! Just looking at the little Pinkie Pie on top of my monitor makes me want to work harder :flutter2:

Friendship Ball is one of my favorite G3 themes, so I don't blame you for being obsessed at all! So many pretty sparkly ponies... :star:

Hey Kosei! Y'know, they do seem a little similar... maybe they're long-lost sisters? :lolpony: Maybe they'd get along really well, you never know!

Thank you Raindrop! And a lil secret- *I* was the one that got her involved! It's funny to think she wasn't fond of them at first, but vinyl toys are much easier to care for than a real horse (which I really wanted at the time LOL) so we compromised with ~200 (and still counting!) little ponies instead! :lolpony:
