Just re-re-re introducing myself for the purposes of etiquette and internet safety 101.

Hello, I go by Korva on the internet in general and by MoonRaven here at the MLPTP. In the before times, I went by MoonShard, and then updated to MoonRaven. Mostly because I am not very good at creating a pony persona. Seriously, y'all ponies have such great personas and names, and I'm just a derpy little spooky unicorn. ( love you all) I'm also one of the members with a habit of falling off the internet and then randomly reappearing since 2005. Which is one of the many reasons I love it here, because members like me are welcome back every time. I was also lured away by the sirens of social media, and I recognize I might have forgotten how to chat forums. I'm used to comment sections, please forgive my uncouth manners in advance. I've returned to the MLPTP to be with my own kind again.

I'm an 80s baby and I've been collecting MLP and MLP adjacent treasures since basically forever, but I've officially identified as a MLP collector since the 2000s. I mean, I'm a weirdo who collects all sorts of things, like the proper magpie that I am, and I love all things toys, but there is something specific about being a MLP collector. I also have a 10 year old who loves toys and collecting as much as I do, and they have their own interests and fandom, which has totally expanded my love of toys and fun. I'm also a bit of a gamer, my favorite games are Skyrim (Elder Scolls), Fallout (all of them) and Minecraft. Castlevania symphony of the Night will forever be my GOAT, and I am a Legend of Zelda kid too.

Currently, I have a limited amount of space for my collection, so my ponies have to share shelf space will all my loves. I'm making plans to redo my whole space to better reflect the current version of ourselves. MLP wise, I love to collect yellow ponies, rainbow everything, and unicorns. I collect all generations, but I mostly have G1s and G3s. I love collecting MLP ephemera, miscellanea, and accessories. I also have an accidental Flutter Shy army.

I also collect curios, natural history, coins, pressed pennies, rocks and all manner of shiny things like a proper corvid. And then hoard them like a proper dragon.
I love ephemera and free swag.
I also collect shiny "trash" and lost things. (the fairies approve)
Im a spooky unicorn, so all things Halloween and spooky. Especially Halloween trinkets and goodies.
Trinkets. Soo many trinkets.
I have a mini color museum made from found trash and lost things.
I also have a small collection of Scholastic Book Fair erasers and things all thanks to my kid's school having book fairs.
And I have a collection I call my Side Quest Prize Corner dedicated to all things prize related. Things I've gotten from Prize Corners at the local skating rink, chuck e cheese, etc. Also things from claw machines and quarter machines. Trick or treat loot, party favors, any fun little plastic bit that serves no purpose of than fun. My book fair goodies are included in this collection.
The prize corner collection overlaps with my MLPs too, as a lot of the items are pony sized.
I'm also super geeky, so geek everything lol. Currently in love with the new Superman movie, so have been collecting and creating Superman related things.
Obviously I love retro toys as an 80s baby, but I love new toys just as much.
If it's sparkly, spooky, glittery, rainbow, unicorn, magical, a creature, cozy, pastel, cute, soft, flutty, colorful, bright, weird or useless, I will probably love it.

I love all your collections! I also have pretty maximalist style and hoard all my items like a dragon. Mostly MLP with other related brands or random vintage toys finding their way in from time to time.

Same for me with mostly MLP. Those two shelves are just the highlights. If I were to put my whole dragon hoard on display, in all it's glory, MLP would still be like 76% of my hoard pile.

And yellow ponies are why I have an accidental Fluttery Shy army. I can not resist yellow with pink hair. I mean, I can't resist any yellow pony, but that combo is absolute kyrptonite.

YES! That is Ponyville Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie with bangs is my favorite version. Photos for tax:


I absolutely like Dinos and fossils as well. And specimens for that matter.

As for my ponysona, we are currently reinventing it. I've grown so much, I've totally outgrown my ponysona. Also, My original ponysona was me trying too hard to be original and not understanding the assignment, like at all lol.
MoonRaven is a combo of the before times Moonshard, and my whole Korva the Raven elsewhere.

In now, I'm brainstorming a new one and actually understanding the assignment this time. Trying to envision my ponysona as what Ponyland would transform me into if I were to be spirited away and made a pony. Would probably be turned into a creature like Discord from FIM.

Also, thank you for being intersted in my ponysona, I pulled some inspiration from it and am having fun with the brainstorm.
