Hi folks! I'm a collector over in the greater Seattle area who has been collecting for a while. I kind of do an "on again off again" thing so I have collected G1, G2, G3, and G4 at various times. In the past, I've been a member on MLP Arena (same name over there) - not sure why I never made it over to the TP until now. Anyway, right now I am mostly collecting G1 and it has been fun to get back into it. I hadn't done much research before on nirvanas and it has been exciting to learn about all the different variants. I even own a pony from Peru now! I am often on Facebook and keep up with a lot of G1 pony info on groups there.
My grandma collected ponies, buying them at a second-hand store in town. My cousins and I would get together at her house and play with them all day - so MLP has some warm memories attached to it for me. Of course, I wish she had held onto her TAF babies - they seem to have disappeared when she moved but I remember Baby Dancing Butterflies fondly...haha! I had a childhood collection which I haven't dug out of storage, but am looking forward to doing that soon.
In non-pony life, I am a technical writer (meaning, I write instructions for people who build software) and can usually be found either taking care of my fish (I got really into planted aquariums), watering my houseplants (it is a small jungle in here), drawing, and doing random crafts.
Hope to see you around!

Welcome!! I love your name! It's making me hungry....

Welcome to the MLPTP  I'd love to see a pic of your aquarium, I'd like to have one but they seem like a lot of work!

Hi, welcome to the mlptp. Nice to meet you.

Welcome to the board! I actually used to have a somewhat similar job. When I worked for a saddle/tack company as their advertising/catalog designer I often had to write up instructions for all the equipment: from the proper use of bits to the correct way to cinch saddles. Not as elaborate as technical manuals, but it could be challenging to present the information in a way that even a layperson could understand.

Your aquarium and plants sound lovely! I used to have lost of both, but my cats are determined I will no longer own fish or plants because they want them all dead. I have evil cats.
