greetings all, i'm cat! i've been collecting mlp for 12 years now, but have never really been part of the online community (i've lurked plenty over the years, though 
)
i grew up in the era of G3. i had many many ponies til my mother made me get rid of half of them, and this devastating blow caused me to lose interest. four years later i rediscovered what ponies i had left in the basement and went about looking up their names, and ended up finding out about G1 in my research. since then mlp has been a passion of mine, and is my biggest hobby. i love to pony hunt and do restorations, and have a habit of flying into long-winded lectures about mlp when given the opportunity.

My mom never did that either but my dad (divorced parents) told me at some point he would never buy me ponies ever again. Lucky for me I lived with my mom and she bought me all the ponies I wanted (well that we could afford) 
. So I'd just show up at my dads with tons of ponies, cant stop me, still cant stop me lol.
