I'm new (just joined!) and thought I'd introduce myself. I still love MLP and love creating things related to them. I'd love a board just to chat about MLP, but when I stumbled upon the TP, I knew it would be useful. I don't collect intensely, but I cherish my old collection as much as the days I received each little pony, and I'd like to keep them in good condition. The idea of a custom pony has intrigued me for years, as well as custom pony friends. This board seems active with knowledgeable and talented folk who can help, and just from a quick scan, some of you seem like kindred spirits.

Just a bit about me: I'm an 80s little girl, and love all those sugary cartoon confections we grew up with in the era, including MLP! I live in the country, and I've always been obsessed with dogs, ponies, and any fluffy thing, and have plenty of all in my home. I will still purchase, design, and enjoy MLP merch, and no spring is complete without watching the 1986 movie. G1 forever! Thanks for having me.
 
Hi and welcome to the mlptp! I’m an ’80’s baby and those old cartoons were the best! I, too, love ponies, both plastic and living, dogs, and fluffy animals. I also like purple and sparkly. Nice to meet you. :)

Welcome to the MLPTP @Woolly Meringue!

It certainly sounds like you’ve found our little community at just the right time. But be forewarned, you may find that your reasonably sized MLP herd expand while being here. It’s okay, it happens to us all. :lolpony:

Custom ponies are so much fun to make. It brings two of my life long obsessions together, ponies and art. It’s also a therapeutic escape that one can practice after a stressful work day.

I think most of us here are friends to the fluffy critters. @evilbunnyfoofoo & @ActionHank have a beautiful menagerie of critters that have been rescued and brought to live with them. They’re animals hero’s in my book. :) I myself am a veterinarian technician and have three puppers and a cat (who lives with my brother because my allergies hate me loving kitties).

Anywhoot, it’s nice to meet you and I hope to see you around and get to know you better. :flutter2:

Thanks for the warm welcome! My sheep and dogs are all rescues, the chickens not so much, but are treasured all the same. Nice to meet you!

Welcome fellow 80's child :) We really did grow up with the best toys and cartoons IMHO :satisfied: You will find many a kindred spirit here, hope to see you around the boards!
