I’ve been a pony collector since I was two… and a part of this forum for years but never posted. I was around during the yahoo groups days…the dream valley chat days…etc. When I was younger, I never joined the mlptp because I always thought it was just for trading (which I never was willing to get rid of my doubles lol). ANYWAY, I’ve been around for awhile. I attend the pony fairs when able (I think I’ve been to…five? Orlando, Chicago, Chicago, Tennessee, and Orlando).

I have the complete US collection, including all mail orders, seaponies, petites, etc. I don’t really collect the accessories though, but there are a few here in there I may strive to obtain. I’m currently looking for some princess variants. :) I’m a teacher, so I’m hoping I have a little time this summer to Read more on the TP!

Welcome back :) Good luck with your princess quests! How do you store/display your collection if you don't mind me asking? I've very nearly completed the US collection as well and I'm always looking for ideas to maximize space in the pony room.

Thanks! And my collection is unfortunately in our basement (which I guess is good for constant temperature and staying out of direct sunlight!). My husband got a huge two-door white cabinet from Lowe’s (hardware store), and he cut large rectangles in the door. He put plexi glass covering the rectangles so you can see in. I managed to squeeze about 1/2 of the collection in there. He used old 2x4s to create risers. The top part of the cabinet holds all of the dream beauties. It’s kind of hard to describe, but it can hold a lot.

The mail orders are in an old display case we got when the local Verizon store was going out of moving, so it’s wooden with glass so you can see in…that’s where the mail orders are. Then I have some old mismatched basic bookcases for my wingers and some of the later US years: the other shelves of these are filled with UK, Dutch, etc, separated by country.
ultimately, it looks very mismatched lol. My goal within the next couple of years (when my daughter gets older and can help), is to get all matching bookcases.
Oh! And my petites and seaponies are displayed on wire shelving.

It is really a hodge podge of displays lol!! It works…for now.

Hi and welcome! Nice to meet you! :)

Thanks! Thankfully my US collection is complete, so I’m focusing on some of the UK and princess variants releases. I have a few Italians and an argie, but I haven’t gotten too much into the true nirvana collecting (yet!). :) lol I do love my cupcake Scandinavian and my Dutch though! I only have a few more Dutch to go.
