Hi Hi, I am a new pony collector- I started in May and in the past couple of months I have really fallen into a rabbit hole. I am especially fond of G3 since that's the generation I grew up with, and G1 because they are oh-so-cute. I love how much they look like horses, and I think 80's stuff is so fun. Def my favorite decade, no I haven't seen Stranger Things. Anyway, my collection is slowly but surely increasing, and I am becoming more and more interested in restoration and making old ponies look clean and pretty. My favorite ponies are the sea ponies, the sweetheart sisters, and any pony made of that cool clear plastic with glitter inside.

Welcome! I agree, some of my favorite ponies are the translucent ones. I thought they were so magical when I was a kid, and it's carried over! What are some of your favorite ponies in your collection, and who do you want the most?

I mostly have G3, I adore Tink-a-tink-a-too, Pepperberry, Dainty Daisy, Moondancer, and a couple of others. I love my adult seapony Seawinkle (She has her shell and comb!), and my darling Sister sweetheart Spring Song.
Today the pony I brought with me to school is Flutter Butter! She has one of the best names ever!
I actually don't have any made of clear glitter, but that's def a spot on my wishlist.
The one I want the most rn is actually a twinkle eye, I want Bright eyes because I think the pun is so cute but I've noticed she is hard to find. I feel like I'm not very picky about ponies, I like hunting them irl rather than online so it's more or less what I find is what I get.

I love a lot of my ponies, right now I'm most obsessed with my Sister Sweetheat Spring Song but this is subject to change for sure.

I agree, my collection is mostly just whatever I find in the wild, plus I buy here on the forum when someone has a good deal on something from my wishlist. I am not very picky about condition, I do what I can with the ponies I find and then they are in my collection!

I feel the exact same way! Plus I love cleaning up the ones I find, when they're a little grubby it's very satisfying to clean them.

She has such a delicate lilac color. The Sister Sweethearts don't get as much attention as some other ponies.

Depending on where you are, Bright Eyes isn't that rare. But people tend to want more for her. I saw one go for $17.50 on ebay the other day. Your best bet might be one needing something simple like hair fixed.
