Just kidding, but I have been invisible and inactive for quite some time...! :catmoon:
Anyway, since I feel my pony hobby is here to stay, I thought I would like to see how could I contribute to the "pony society"!
(and it's halloween around the corner, and maybe some ghosts come back from the DEAD buhahahaha! :Zombie:)

So, if anyone is interested in any details about me, see below.
Anyhow, lovely forum, see ya around!!

:batfly: Me. Who am I. Why... where.. wait.. huh???
Yeah, that's my life right there in that sentence.
I was born and raised in Finland, then I found Pokemon and decided, hey, I like this stuff! I like anime! Anime is japanese? Where's Japan? I wanna live in Japan!! And here I am, trying my best to find affordable ponies in Tokyo... Tragic...

:Glowpump: Me and ponies
I grew up in the 90's so just in time to catch the last G1's on sale at supermarkets and such. Also, in Finland there was still a lot to find at the fleamarkets back then and I also got many ponies from relatives, those who actually were kids in the 80's.
Then, as I grew up and most of my friends weren't interested in ponies anymore, I bought some from them, super cheap! ;)
Even though I was growing older, I didn't want to sell my ponies, and soon found out some people actually collect them, and so I became a collector as well. (a lazy one)

:skull:My collection
I only collect G1 ponies, since I guess I'm a retro nerd... I kinda like all sorts of 80's stuff. I have three G2 ponies from my childhood, but might sell them at some point.
My collection has grown into some 50 ponies and that's pretty much all I can possibly fit into my home for now..
The collecting will be a bit slower in the future...

Thanks for checking my post!
Feel free to ask anything if you wish :)
Sorry my profile is looking so bleak, working on it...

ok bye...

Happy to have you openly haunting our boards, welcome! I love your tenacity, being able to up and move so far and into such a different culture (I would imagine, never actually been to Finland or Japan myself) seems like it would take a lot of effort. I sometimes day dream of being other places but the idea of having to pack all my stuff, be so far from family and have to navigate finding employment somewhere else, not to mention the language thing, is too daunting!! I think I must resolve to just stay put and visit all these other places, although Maui tempts me greatly ;)
I'm a G1 collector myself, always been G1 exclusive until I got closer to completing the US G1 collection. Then a strange thing starts to happen, you begin to see the other gens in a different light. I guess the idea of not buying ponies as regularly makes you start looking at the other gens differently. At least for me. Sure, I still have some international G1s I'd like but they can be so expensive I might only get a couple a year. So some of those G3 and G2 have been tempting me a little cause it's a more affordable way for me to get my pony-fix I guess LOL although I haven't officially dived in cause there is the issue of space too. I can only give up 1 room in my house and it's already pretty darn full. So if I were you I'd hang onto your G2s, you never know where collecting will take you :)

Hehe I know the feeling bro, Japan makes you crazy in quite many ways...
Magic word lol, yeah, it used to be a magic word until you get to know the politics here but lets just stay nice and cozy here in ponyland and forget about the real world mess..... ^_^;;;;
Nah, Japan is an awesome place, what I'm saying, you just have to find what's right for you!
If you like Japan and ponies, come on over and I'll take you on a Tokyo pony tour to some shops that have MLP! (could I make a business of this???)

I love the word "openly haunting" like I came out of a closet lol X)
Oh, family.... I guess for me it was just a matter of making a new family here, and I guess it's just in my blood to go abroad, as many of my relatives have also left Finland...!
Or maybe Finland just simply sucks. (I still love it)
I will reconsider about my G2's, they do hold some memories!
Thanks for the reply! <3 ^_^

Welcome to the twilight land.

hey there! I’m glad you finally materialized! Welcome in and enjoy your stay!

I'd love that! And theirs already one set up, its called personal shopper!
you could also setup a website and receive payment directly from the customers like this YouTuber I watch, he buys only in Japan video games and sends them to his patrons!

Oh wow, I've heard of services like that, but didn't know that one, thanks for sharing!
Gotta think about it..... ;)
There's tons of cool nerdy stuff in Tokyo :winkpony:

Hello and welcome to the spooky lands you’ve arrived just in time for all our spooky fun events!

I too am very much a Pokémon gal who loves MLP too. My bf’s sister lives in Japan (we are hoping to visit her in the summer) and I couldn’t be more excited. I so sorely want to go to the Pokémon Center and Mario Bros. World at Universal Studios. We are also talking about going to Disney. My bf has been to visit his sister before we met but we’re looking forward to going.

Thank you!
I never forget when I came to Tokyo for the first time and back then there was only one Pokemon center! Now there's... Many!!
I hope you enjoy your travel to Japan!! I would recommend coming around July rather than June as it's the rainy season and the weather sucks..!
