I cant believe i only just found this place today! But im super glad that i have! Born in 1984, was MLP superfan growing up and later found out my mother threw out all my precious ponies when she and my dad divorced. Im slowly picking up some vintage and rereleases as i go but not looking to get too crazy. Just loving the nostalgia and giving my inner child those feelings again. I also love the idea of restoring and customising g1 bodies. Ive seen some incredible artwork out there! Anyone else still have "shoobie-doop-shoop-shoobie-doop" stuck in there head?
 
Welcome pony friend! I love it when that happens, it actually gets brought up a lot and then yes it gets stuck in my head.

But welcome to the herd fellow 80's baby :) I collect G1 too but occasionally dip my toe in the G3 water.
