Okay, I was inspired to go and dig up all the littlest pet shop I brought to me & my husband's new house from my parent's old house, and here is what I found:

Wow! Soo much eye candy. I think I had about 8 littlest pet shop toys when I was little. They were so much fun to play with. I think I like the older style better than the newer style. I wonder why they changed it and what the response is to the new design. Do you know?

I am so glad you all are enjoying these! I have the playsets and all somewhere in a giant box in my Mom's house. I'll have to go looking for it. None of these were meant to be put up for sale. Hi there! *points to siggy* Feel free to come over and discuss it... we have a forum for the old LPS line and for the new . We'd love to have you!

In my opinion, the response has been HUGE to the new line. Many of them are near impossible to get, much MUCH harder than any of the new G3 MLPs. I'm not sure how fans of the original line are responding, though, as I never really liked the original pets. I am, however, mad crazy about the new ones . But I do know there are quite a few posters at the board who love the originals too, and a trade section / want section if anyone is looking for anything in particular.
Also, if anyone needs it, there is an extensive and up-to-date guide to the "G2's" with pictures and checklists.
