How important is merch to your collection?

It is! This one is bow tie (and the only one I own so far...) but there is also Apple Jack and Lemon drop in this same style!

I like merch but im not a super collector of it. I love figurines of mlp someday. Though id just rather have a pony collection.

I have one of those snowglobes, mine has a seapony in it, it's in pretty poor shape though. When I'm feeling ambitious I'm going to attempt to repair it one day.

I also have that Christmas pony candle you have pictured to the right of it @Prideth mine isn't still in plastic though. Was that MLP merch or just a cute pony candle? I just bought it cause it resembled MLP but I didn't think it was actually licensed, do you know?

I love merch, but space is always an issue. The main focus of my collection is brushable ponies, so they get the lions share of space. I focus my merch collecting mainly on party supplies and stationary, including stickers (I’m hip deep in stickers), things that don’t take up a lot of space.

Basically, if Trickles is on it, I want it. I love some merch just as much as ponies. I like the old thermos a lot as well.

I like Merch but the only Merch allowed in my collection is G4 Rarity.
 
Hmm. The actual ponies have markedly higher priority for me, but I still love merch and would love to get some, especially G1 merch.

Of course, there are some wrinkles on that regard... I'm somewhat picky when it comes to merchandise. I would really love to have a G1 bedding set, but the only complete bedding sets from the time I could find on My Little Wiki are Scandinavian (so I would have to import), and the ASDA retro set is "meh" to me. I don't like that the ponies are all super smushed together like that. I would like them more spaced out, like the characters on branded bedding usually are; I think that would look a lot better. And sheets done like that would be a much better match for this beautiful blanket:

I don't go seeking out merch, but I get it if I find it and like it. At the moment I only have 1 piece of merch.
My Grandma got me the 'A Very Minty Christmas' CD when I was little because I LOVED that movie. I ended up losing the CD, but one day last year we were talking about it and she gave me an extra copy she had made for me, in case I lost it. She even photocopied the cover and the songs list. It's very special to me, knowing she kept it so long just in case I ever mentioned it.
