HQG1C custom Hydrangea

She's just beautiful! What a lovely color palette! Is lock and loop the same as chain stitch? That's what I always call the original hasbro stitching because it seems to work the same as on a chain stitch sewing machine.

Yeah, it kind of looks like that. Chain stitch is pretty satisfying ngl.

Beautiful! Did you cur holes out to put her eyes in? I love the gray-to-purple hair.

Wow shes super beautiful!! I love her eyes and her pose fits the whole theme perfectly!

I used a dremel type tool to grind the eyes in, then used another attachment to thin down and curve the back of the socket.

It was my first try, so one eye is off centre and badly shaped. Oh well :p

I'm on my 17th Luminary and some of the ones with mistakes like that are my favorites.

Was cleaning up my art cupboard today and Hydrangea has MAD highlighter marks! Not sure it would photograph well, but she is covered in faint pink splotches, and looks uneven. I bought her this colour and didn't dye her. Shes not really been near anything pink and her hair isn't pink either. Its a bit weird!

Maybe she is one they decided to use for the dyed ponies that maybe had some marks on so to cover it up and not expect this to happen? Sounds strange. I hope another pony hadn’t gotten into a fight with her

Thats possible, I had to do that with Margherita but I picked a colour close to the marks she had :/

I often wonder if the plastic over time does that because I see so many Ponies not necessarily hqg1c but original ones that have those pink "highlighter" marks. Surely there's not that many kids in the 80s just running around putting tiny marks on toys. I know I didn't do that. It's very strange.

Yeah, and I don't realy think its down to hair or accessories... cos one of the duckicorns has highlighter marks!
