Seriously. I’m a failure at resting! Why?!
So… I’m getting to work on our stack of ponies! I’ll update as we go. :)

Is that gold hair? :0

Here are the ponies with their prospective hair! (Although the three together would have been a pretty holiday pony.) I’m going to try the @Jellybean method on the mane, so wish me luck! We’ll see how she looks tomorrow.

Then here is one blank pony and so many hair option… not quite sure where I’m going, yet.

Your way was very meticulous and it ended up so very satisfyingly neat inside!
That said, I don’t think I’ll be doing them all that way, because, wow, just wow. I have mad respect for you.
Here’s my result… styling later. lol, my fingers are done for today. :)

LOL! Meticulous, tidy, and utterly exhausting seems to be my brand of crafts.  Thanks for giving it a try!! She turned out beautiful!!
Honestly, I think a second time might be easier. Now that I know, I could be a bit more prepared. (I’ve never broken a needle like that before!) Always good to try something crafty in a new way.

I think you got through it really fast and it looks so polished! :ponylove:

Oh no, I'm sorry my method did in one of your needles! But you did finish hairing faster than I usually do, so hat's-off to you for that! I recently started modifying the method, when I found I could take my long, sturdy, curved upholstery needle and jab it through the hole to widen it, then put the eye end through the hole and out the neck just enough to thread it with a loop of my anchor thread, and pull it back out of the plug hole. It's easier than eyeballing through the neck to aim at the hole from inside.
