Haha! Good one!

How do people get away with posting such things?! That is hilarious! I wanna know how many people actually replied to the add.

Ok I'm still laughing ten minutes later about it. I had to put it on facebook and tell people they're on my xams list or they can be a his and hers for my wedding registry.

I want one, too! I do wonder why one of them is named Pegasus....in't it enough that he's a unicorn, you need to give him hangups about not being able to fly, too? Not everyone can be an alicorn, you know. :winkpony:

Oh, goodness, I can't believe this is a real ad. WOW!

Also... unicorn eggs? What? :surprisepony:

If only they were real...and I had acres of farmland...and I had the time to hand-feed them. :sadpony:

And how mean is it to name a flightless unicorn after a pegasus?!

I want one XD

Maybe unicorns are real and this person has kept them secret for years? X3

Let me tell you a story about real unicorns, children! Gather 'round!

Well, years ago my old chum Oberon "Otter" Zell-Ravenheart 'made' his own unicorns and they traveled with Ringling Brothers and Barnum Circus during the eighties. Looking much like a mere goat with a sing magificent horn in the middle of his handsome brow, Lancelot, the most famous of these 'unicorns' was put under a great deal of scrutiny, as many believed he had been the abused victim of some hideous surgery. I believe people claimed he had a bull's horn implanted onto his forehead. I was a young lass then and memory fades. :D

Here's Lancelot as a wee lad with mummy and daddy! (I had to borrow this pic from Oberon's site. I didn't know the Zell-Ravenhearts way by when, so I have no pics of Lance of my own) I think this was way way back when Oberon was just plain ol' 'Tim'. LOL!

It was however, a cunning trick (one that had actually been pulled far before Oberon performed it). Oberon and his wife Morning Glory (a clever gal, most wise in the ways of animal husbandry) realised that a baby goats horn buds are easily removed or as the case was... moved. It's a simple procedure that anyone who owns goats is aware of. The baby is anesthesized, the forehead had a small incission and the buds are typically removed (because goats butt, and also to keep them from getting their heads stuck in fences... as my goats have their horns, they do occassionally have to be rescued from evil fences that capture them). In this case though, Oberon simply moved the horn to the middle of the forehead and allowed it to heal. Afterwards he carefully 'trained' the horn to grow a particular way, lovingly, as he is an absolute lover of all living beings, to look just like a unicorn of yore.

Then he hawked it like a true carnival saleman, making rounds at local carnival and faires before selling lancelot and some siblings to the circus, making a small but good fortune and guarding his secret well. What he *did* with the money... Well. That's quite a story in itself. Oberon's a legend in the making, let me tell ya.

And Lancelot? He lived happily ever after, adored and admired by throngs of people, eager to see a real unicorn. I never got to meet him, as I met the Zell-Ravenhearts much later, but he did help me learn to believe in unicorns.

The end!

Hope you took notes, there's a test tomorrow!

I give you an Aplus just for sitting through my long story!

Wow, that story was really interesting! And it's good to know the "unicorn" wasn't really harmed to make him one. =)
