Important MLPTP Announcement: Please read!

Hello friends old and new!! We are so excited to see our community growing and getting more active every day.

With growth comes tiny details that get forgotten or missed as more and more folks come aboard. The MOD Squad would like to take a minute to remind everyone of a few points to help out.

• Firstly, we are noticing a lot of multiple postings and we are having to merge a lot of posts again. Please remember to use the "Quote" and "+Quote" features when responding to a post. This helps to avoid having multiple postings in the same thread and keep the threads from getting too overwhelming. You can add it to one or multiple posts at once using the "+quote" feature. For example, if you wish to respond to 2 specific comments in a thread, you can click on the +quote in the bottom right of the posts and when you go to reply you will see the "insert quotes" button which will allow you to insert the quote(s) from the other member you wish to reference in your response. You may do this for one or multiple quotes in a thread within one post.​

• When inserting a photo to your post, please remember to complete the task. All you have to do once your image is uploaded is select "insert" and choose either "Thumbnail" or "Full Image." We recommend always using the "Thumbnail" option as large photos can greatly slow down the site and your browsing experience. This way, if someone has a slow connection they can still see your image but view it larger at another time. Below are images of what to select.​

• Please no "necro bumping" - as you explore and enjoy the numerous threads and topics around the board, please be conscious of the date of the last update to the post. If it is more than a year old you should not comment on it, as this will bring an old thread back to the top of the posts. Instead, you can "like" the posts that are older, and if you have a question to ask that is related to the topic, start a brand new thread!​

• Please always remember we have younger members on our board so we want to keep the environment here friendly and PG rated. We do have an area called the Dream Beauty Lounge which is where some more "adult" topics may be discussed. Fellow MLPTP friends, I’m extremely saddened that I need to bump this board again.

Once again your Admin and Mods have been spending much too much time editing and merging multiple posts and incomplete image uploads.

Both of these things are very simple things to help us help you. By doing both, this helps the site continue to function smoothly and quickly. Most of all it helps those who may have slower internet connections and add a better overall experience when browsing the forums.

You may have noticed that we have started to directly leave notice on boards stating “mod edit:” and a reason for the edit. This is our way to express the urgent matter of your attention to details when posting and when our private messages have either gone unnoticed or ignored. Note that this is in no way to embarrass anyone but to try and get your attention as the issue keeps happening. By doing this we are trying to avoid a warning being given out.

Please friends, we do not want to give warnings for these super easy fixes. However our hands are tied and we are going to start giving warnings for continued breach of these two issues. If enough warnings are accumulated you will unfortunately be banned from the MLPTP.

Again, this is something we do NOT want to do but at this point our hands are tied.​
