I have acquired 2 of the same G3 pony. But they are entirely different colors of pink! Same hair. Same cutie mark. Same pose even. But one is MUCH more pink than the other! Different years?

Mod edit: Moved to your own thread as was unrelated to previous post. Also removed text asking if it was right. ;)

Don’t know if this is the right place or if I should have just started a new thread, but my question is the same. I have acquired 2 of the same G3 pony. different releases, yes! the one on the right is Seaside Celebration Skywishes - notably more hot pink & matte. the other Skywishes is any one of the other releases you see on her mylittlewiki page :lolpony:
(also i would make a new thread next time!)

I’m pretty sure the more pinker Skywishes is from the Seaside Celebration set and the other sparkly one could be another set. My Skywishes are both the same (the lighter one) from the Dress Shop and music box

So, I recently added 11 or so more G3 to my collection. I had previously bought a lot of them and put them in our claw machine. Kids were taking them home for fifty cents a piece from our arcade. Lol! I went through and took them all back out and discovered I now have THREE Skywishes, and the 3rd was yet another color of pink. So, I guess I've developed an army after all. Quite unintentional, but now that I see the G3 are cute, I don't think I can part with them. If they were just duplicates, I'm sure I could let one go, but...they are all visibly different!

A lot of G3 ponies with several releases can have variations in color and pose! Its really fun to find different ones! Man if I saw a claw machine full of ponies I would lose it haha id spend all my money in one go!! Lol:DD

Some ponies have different body colors depending on their releases . For example, Bellaluna can be a strong blue or a much lighter one. This happens in other generations, like g1. Lady Flutter can be a light or stronger pink!

agree that the darker pink came from seaside celebrations - I always considered her version the "sunburned" one ;-)
