Hello, I just joined today and I've gotta say, I love how much this community encourages, well, community!

I was originally a fan of MLP when the G2 toys were out. My older sister and I would play tons of random games with my two toys and her dozen. She kept her toys, but when my younger sister started amassing a collection of her own I gave her my two toys to help, as I had become uninterested in the franchise as a whole.
And then Friendship is Magic became a thing.
I, like many new fans, fell in love with the rich world, the fascinating and varied characters, and a focus on humor punctuated by instances of fantasy world awesome. Pinkie Pie, with her antics and boundless optimism, became my favorite character, and I got my first entry into my collection of Pinkie Pie toys a couple months later and a minor obsession was kicked off.
A lot of my collection is based on blind bags, and that's how my search for this site started. I figured hey, just because I got a character I didn't want doesn't mean it won't complete another fans collection!

So thank you to all fans involved for making this site and this community possible!

Ah, the longer the better! We're all terribly nosy, so we'll bombard you with questions anyway!

So welcome to the board! We're so happy to have you here! YAYS!!!! Fresh meat! I mean, NEW FRIENDS! I see you're from Texas, me too! We have lotsa Texans. Which area are you in? I'm up right by the Red River about 60 miles north of Dallas. Northeast. Heck, I dunno. I'm way up there and I'm waving to you!

I am delighted to read that your fave is Pinkie, as she's mine as well (tied with Minty for nostalgic reasons). How awesome to fall back in love with an old friend like MLP. It sort of happened to me that way. A huge chunk of my collection was stolen and I was so crestfallen for years I just gave up, then my son became hooked on FIM and got me hooked all over! Plus my mom got into collecting, so we had three generations in our family, all loving us some Ponies!

Ahhh, thanks! I'm actually from the Alamo City, San Antonio! I'm prolly 4 or 5 hours from you.
I feel like the timing was perfect for me to fall back in love with the series. I'm in my 20s, so old enough to be able to pay for my collection but young enough to find the same genuine joy in the series as a whole.
