I've noticed that some ponies, while they look good, are easier to tip over than others.
Put your judgements and personal experiences on the stability of various pony poses!
(I wrote the pose names based on what's on My Little Wiki http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Main_Page )

Whizzer pose - Not stable. Tends to fall over on the front easily, faceplanting her poor face into the ground!

Posey pose - Rather stable

Glory pose - slightly unstable. Tends to tip over on the pony's right side where the leg is lifted.

Bride pose - Fairly stable. If she tips over, it's usually on the right side, where her head is pointing to, and where her legs are closer together. So she faceplants.

Spring Song pose - Rather stable

Coconut Grove pose - Fairly stable. If she tips over, it's on her right side and she lands on her wing.

I've had problems with two poses so far: Tootsie pose (Tootsie herself, I had her since childhood and she always tipped over - I hope her new owner has been able to fix her problem) and Crumpet Pose (my Seaflower has problems standing).

ooh crumpet pose was a surprising one! With all four feet flat on the ground, I guessed it'd be one of the more stabler poses, but it seems I have guessed wrong!

I don't know if it's just Seaflower in the Crumpet Pose who has problems standing. I have other ponies in that pose (Princess Ruby, Mirror Mirror, Dutch Love Pony) and they stand normally.

I recently saw another Seaflower on ebay and the seller mentioned the exact same problem mine has. I dipped my Seaflower's legs in very hot water then put a pencil between her legs for a few weeks, so she's standing a bit better now.

This seaflower standing problem does seem very strange! I wonder happened during the manufacturing process....

I’ve had trouble with crumpet and whizzer... the mimic, Milky Way, powder pose has been my worst luck... and plain old cp like to face plant.

Most stable Earth Pony pose:
Bubbles
Most unstable:
I'm going to presume Quackers, but I've never had a Quackers posed pony.

Most stable Unicorn pose:
Baby Glory
Most unstable:
Buttons

Most Unstable Pegasus pose:
Locket
Most stable:
Lofty

I don't have any problem with any of the flutter poses. They're all fairly stable.

I only have one Winger pose so I can't compare.

Yes! The Quacker/Love Melody pose is awful! I had one of the Rockin’ Beats ponies in that pose and I ended up getting rid of her years ago because she drove me crazy! Also I tend to have issues with the Posey Pose. As for the most stable, obviously I’ll have to go for Bubbles’ sitting pose! :lolpony:
@Leave a Whisper All of my Wingers are completely stable, no issues with any of them (I have 3 different poses)

@Leave a Whisper - Wingers are pretty stable as they’re short and close to the ground with all 4 hooves on the ground. :D

Rearing ponies can be annoying, I’ve fixed it by investing in stands for mine.

Buttons pose is the worst. Which is a shame because it’s my favourite unicorn pose. Once you reset those back legs they’re so pretty when displayed.

My favourites are of course all the Big Brother poses. They are just sturdy walls, I often lean my mares on them. :lolpony:
