Well you're more than welcome to come to the tennessee meet (I don't know where in mississippi you are) I'm just above Huntsville, AL. I know this response isn't quite what you were looking for though

We actually tried one the later part of last year/early part
We actually tried one the later part of last year/earlier part of this year, but it never materialized. There were just not enough people involved in a dense area. I'm closer to LA and with family driving all the way up state at the time was not an option at the time so we just let it go.
I would be happy if there was a MS/LA meet, but the questions would still be where..
Last year it was proposed in Jackson, MS.

I just realized you are in Biloxi If nothing else we could get together one day and pony shop. Coastal shopping is Awesome...or at least the coast has been faster than Slidell, LA

That's so cool, I love going to LA--the thought had crossed my mind to see if a LA and MS pony meet could come together here on the coast, if nothing else we could all loose some money at the casinos! LOL!

I only know of one other person who collects in LA. I'll try to get in touch with her. There are 2 others in MS and we may want to put it out for the Alabama and Georgia coastal region as well

I was also thinking that it (meaning the meet) wouldn't be until at least the spring, giving enough time for planning and such. Possibly next summer (in case there are those who need it to be a time when school's are out).

Ok, That is a bit far off, but still sounds good Maybe we could do a small test meet before than just to generate some interest.
