Medley Yarn Rehair!

Since I was asked about my Medley custom - I found a Medley in fairly good shape but with rather ratty hair, so I decided to do my first reroot with a dark shade that I thought would compliment her well! I'm quite proud of how she turned out

She looks great! I love that dark color on her. I’ve only done yarn rehairs myself, but I never did the curly look. I may need to experiment if I find some baits.

I separated each yarn strand and then instead of making wefts, I rooted a yarn strand per hole (with a giant tapestry needle lol) and then brushed it out when I was done! Definitely not the most traditional method, but it works for me

(Yarn when you separate the strands is pretty naturally wavy/curly, and I thought that looked too nice to make wefts, which are way more work anyway lol)
