Hello! I'm a long-time fan of the show(s), and an up-and-coming collector for (hopefully!) all generations of Pony!

I'm 23 years old, and I first got into the franchise as a wee little tyke through a friend's VHS collection of various G1 episodes... though, at an unusual turn for most young pony fans of our age? We both lived in an extremely remote and rural backwoods environment up in Maine at the time, so we didn't even KNOW about the actual toy lines at the time we were enjoying the show! We were both just mutually enamored by that strange little fantasy world of Ponyland, and all the lovable characters being corralled together by Megan and company... We relied upon playing with, marbles, and other various tchotchkes instead. XD

Along with the "Monster Kid" fandom, which I also found myself in near around the same age (cable wasn't big in my household-- as you may well could have guessed, lol), My Little Pony is one of my oldest and most well-loved fandoms. And, throughout the past decade, I've been on and off with following the G4 iteration of the franchise, but lately I've been compelled to revisit G1 - and appreciate every Gen a little bit more!

My first ever pony, was I think a "ride along" release of Rainbow Dash, G4. But my first (and currently, favs!) of G3 are Abra-ca-dabra, and Pumpkin Tart! :catmoon:

(My Pumpkin Tart icon, btw, I credit to the artist paradise-estate of tumblr!)

Welcome! I'm the same age, and my first experience of MLP was G1 VHSes (because parents were too cheap to get cable), too! When they got me interested enough to dig a little deeper, though, 6-year-old super-tomboy me found G3 TV, hated every moment, and rejected the whole franchise as "too girly"
Now that I understand the generation differences I love G1 & G4 and tolerate the other two :lolpony:. Happy to meet you!

Welcome to the forum! Pumpkin Tart was one of my first G-3’s as well! She is defiantly my favorite! That’s great that you got into collecting! Beware... all ponies will start to creep in! BTW, I looove your avatar!

I LOVE ABRA-CA-DABRA AND PUMPKIN TART! They are some of my favorite g3s, since I adore fall. Welcome to the MLPTP! Can't wait to see you around and hope you enjoy your time here!

Omg. I had no idea I would meet somebody with such a similar childhood experience with the fandom, so early coming into here! :lolpony:
Thank you for sharing that, and it's a pleasure meeting you as well!

Lol, I don't doubt it at all! :satisfied: And also. Thank you, so much!! This icon was actually the very first art commission I ever requested, and I am just pleased as punch with how it turned out. I cannot give paradise-estate enough credit, she seriously ROCKS at representing the distinct art styles across all MLP generations (and then some!)

I'm thrilled to be here already! I don't think I've ever received a warmer welcome so soon after joining a new internet forum ! <3

Welcome to the MLPTP!
Welcome to the TP herd!

Aww, thank you so much ! :ponylove:

And, heh! Seems like welcomes around here do AND don't come in "Moderation" (get it??) :lolpony:

Hi there, and welcome!

I got to know MLP because my sister was super into it, and I had several hand me down G1s as a result. Later on when I could actually buy things, I collected G2, which are my personal favorite, but really I like all generations (though I’m not that into collecting G4)

I'm months late to da party, but welcome! It's fantastic to have you here! Heh... only 23, I could be your mum! Hmm... maybe I should start adopting you young'uns, make you all my slaves, I mean... farm hands!

And honestly, farm hands are basically slaves. Any country gal knows that. :lolpony:

No penalty for tardiness here! I sincerely appreciate the warm reception and the opportunity to meet you all the same. :satisfied:
And, heh! Might be true-- but we're all kids at heart. And that's what really counts, right? :winkpony:

The thread title reminds me of this.
EXACTLY what I was shooting for, lol! I love that show so, so much. <3

I'm a kid at heart and mentally a toddler.

At least I finally outgrew biting people.

For the most part anyway.

Thank you! I'm glad to be here! :satisfied:

Oh, so what you get hungry! You're only human, aren't you! :lolpony:

Myself, I've got the mind of a preschooler. And they were glad to get rid of it!
Mebbe human. My family has vocalized some doubts. :D

Bwhaha! You and I are gonna get along like mad!
