I got mine yesterday but wasn't online. It is... definatly for the first readers series of books. Very few words, some screen caps and there is a one page ad in back for the Very Minty Christmas cine-manga to accompany that DVD as well.

I also just got Hidden Treasure. Some of these characterizations are making me laugh. Thistle Whistle was quite frankly getting annoying with her whistles.

Lol, it looks like it's really cute :) I'd love to have it... if only they'd release it over here :)

i'm sorry what book was this?

There are several new pony books that just came out and that's one of them. I haven't looked for it yet. What section of the book store is it in? What ponies are in it? I found Pony Pop Stars, Mystery Monster and the princess paint book though.

I like Thistle Whistle. I thought the whistling was cute.

It's not a manga. It's screen shots of the movie with word bubbles attached.
It's in Tokyopop's "cinemanga" line, along with Lizzie McGuire, Kim Possible, and a few other things like that.

Not worth the money. None of them.

Thistle Whistle is really cute, I agree.

& I wasn't too disappointed with "Friends Are Never Far Away". At least it wasn't as painful as "A Charming Birthday"...

You can buy these books online!

Tokyopop now has a webstore where you can purchase the MLP cinemanga online.

There is also a section on there with info on when the next books are coming out, along with a summary of what they contain.

Most people who read TP Manga should know their site pretty well. If you order Previews, there is a full spread page containing info on the next book - A Very Minty Christmas.

I don't know if you can get the books in the UK from your local comic shop, but I can't see why you can't order them in. Forbidden Planet here is Cardiff is such a mess and they never pull my standing order, so I wouldn't order from them, though I know Forbidden Planet in London is a great place to look. Waterstones in Reading is also another great place to look. All I know is that its upper floor is full of manga at great prices and its located near the train station, only a street or so away.

Oh, TP's website is www.tokyopop.com

Hope that helps!
