Yes, I haven't actually gone to the post office in forever to ship. I print the postage, tape it to the box and they pick it up with regular mail delivery. Even if you don't participate in the swap, it's very convenient for anything else you might do!
I am going to sign up, and yes I don't have much on my list for ponies other than pricey ones but I got TONS of accessories! The past several swaps I've said an actual pony wasn't required for me but I guess it all depends on your wishlist.
And agreed, participation in this is completely voluntary. With the things going on in the world it's a personal choice in what you feel safe doing and what you are confident you can participate in. We totally understand if people aren't able to partake due to whatever reasons and there will be plenty more fun to come but for those who did want to enjoy this swap we are happy to organize it
