BIG SAME.

i may have overdone it.

Well I'm shipped out! Just so excited for my partner to get the stuffs and have time to enjoy it. I always feel like it's not enough and I want to keep putting stuff in there :ghost:

I am having a hard time deciding what I need to wrap and how to wrap it.

:bat: Swap Checklist Time! :pumpkin:

  • Have you included at least one MLP item from your partner's wish list, in the condition they asked for?
  • Have you adhered to your partner's wish list to the very best of your ability?
  • Have you spent at LEAST the minimum required for your swap tier? Remember, shipping to/from you for anything does not count!
  • Have you asked a pony friend if you need help shopping?
  • Have you ordered or gathered everything for your box in plenty of time for the shipping deadline?
  • Do you have what you need to wrap your items, including packing material like bubble wrap or packing peanuts, and a sturdy box to mail them in?
  • If you washed your ponies or items, did you leave PLENTY of time for them to be COMPLETELY dry before mailing out?

:orangeheart: If you answered "Yes" to all of the above questions, congratulations! You're on your way to a GREAT swap experience! :orangeheart:

If you need any help or suggestions please just shoot myself, @Gingerbread or @Sassarazzmadazzles a note and one of us will get back to you asap. :)

Personally I always use a layer of paper (usually plain tissue paper or Kraft paper. Then I do a layer of bubble wrap in the box and tightly secure my packages within it. I always wrap ponies in their own layer of bubble wrap as well.

Here’s a shipping example I did awhile ago:

I have several large items that are complicating the logistics.

I have been quiet, but still working on my swap box. It just keeps getting more and more full. I'm down to the craft items. Just need to finish those up and get everything wrapped.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was struggling for wrapping things. I've got some items that just don't have a wrapping-friendly shape. And what do you wrap Halloween items with? I opted with reversing some Christmas wrapping paper and then covering it with Halloween stickers. But I do also have some Halloween material. Maybe I'll look into that for some of the more oddly shaped items!

So, I’m feeling really defeated by the people that make and sell wrapping paper this year. I have been to 12 stores today (looking for a specific extra for my partner as well as) looking for wrapping paper. I couldn’t find Halloween wrapping paper, no plain black or even orange!!! There was NO Halloween fabrics anywhere, not even at my local (huge) fabric store. I may get desperate and just make my own wrapping paper. Which means I will have a lot to get done. *sigh*

You could print out some halloween patterns for some smaller gifts and wrap them with that! :3 Ive done that before and it looked nice! Of course tho, I wouldnt touch a pony with a printed page ink down, only white unprinted side touching pony.

I am struggling with wrapping too. I have wrapping paper, but some of my items don't really ... work that way. I got treat bags and then also a larger gift bag, plus wrapping sheets... the bane of my existence is the wrapping part, actually. Other than that and putting the finishing touches on one of the crafty bits... I'm done. All of my items, even the last minute bois, have come, so that's nice.

im gonna try to get the rest of my gifts this weekend and ship out right in time for ship date, cause i get paid on next thursday lol
