MLPTP EVENT ~*~ MLPTP's Holiday Swap 2022 ~*~ Wrapping up!

I should not have complained.

I couldn't open my door to get out this morning.

Three piles of boxes, lol.

It looks like more coming tomorrow and Friday, and then maybe a straggler Saturday.
I will be busy all at once.
 
Part of the "pony" came in today! - just waiting for the other part and then gotta get fillers and im done shoppin!
 
Holy crow! I would really love some down time. My life is in perpetual frenzy. I started my new job three weeks ago and I’ve been working two weeks straight!

I’ve been able to start picking up the extras for my partner. I’m super happy with my partner, because we share many things in common. I love it when that happens. It makes shopping even more fun.
 
Still waiting on some stuff to arrive! So excited!! Im glad i ordered as quickly as I could to account for the slow holiday season haha. Im so excited!! :happyhearts::xmastree:

Looking great guys!!! I need to stop buying things so I can get everything in in time for the deadline LOL I just keep seeing more stuff!
 
:xmastree: 10 days before shipping deadline! Swap Checklist Time!

- Have you included at least one MLP item from your partner's wish list, in the condition they asked for?
- Have you adhered to your partner's wish list to the very best of your ability?
- Have you spent at LEAST the minimum required for your swap tier? Remember, shipping to/from you for anything does not count!
- Have you asked a pony friend if you need help shopping?
- Have you ordered or gathered everything for your box in plenty of time for the shipping deadline?
- Do you have what you need to wrap your items, including packing material like bubble wrap or packing peanuts, and a sturdy box to mail them in?
- If you washed your ponies or items, did you leave PLENTY of time for them to be COMPLETELY dry before mailing out?


If you answered "Yes" to all of the above questions, congratulations! You're on your way to a GREAT swap experience! If not, there is still time but let this remind you of what to review :winkpony:

Know what's weird? The person I was buying for this time collects ENTIRELY different Gens from what I collect. I knew nothing about those generations of ponies. I basically had to crash-course it, to even understand what the wishlist was talking about. LOL! But now I know a lot more about MLP than I was ever going to without doing this swap, so that is super fun too!

I’m sorry @darklys!!

I just started to not put G1 on my swap stuff because I was getting ponies that were not on my preferred “flaw” traits. I am also down to a few very costly G1’s on my list now. So it’s easier to just leave it at G4 and now G5 with both being cheaper and more accessible for most participants.

@Daintress maybe your partner is in a similar boat. I know a few of us are down to the wire and costly G1’s so we try to add different collections and items on our lists too. :)

Could be. Whatever the reason, I had a lot of fun learning about new (to me) ponies.
 
I could have gotten you a g1, @Skybreeze, but i liked shopping the other generations.



Also, I don't know why, but I can't use replies on my phone anymore because my text gets moved around the boxes And everything ends up in the replied text. I can't insert pics from my phone either. Also, spacing is weird.



So, apologies for my weird posts. Jewel said there shouldn't be anything wrong, so...i guess that means i just deal with it.

Hi @darklys :) The forum software is fully updated and all file checks came back clear, so the only other possible source for any user issues would be the individual device or browsers being used. I wish I could offer any further help on the matter for you, I know you are frustrated. :(
