Hi there,

Meh... try not to get too excited. Remember... a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Or so to speak. :p

I'm not saying he won't send you Kimono, and I'm not trying to bring your hopes down! :D I'm just saying that you shouldn't get too excited until you have Kimono in your hands. Mmkay? :D

Oh I know how it works. I think I'm mostly excited about getting a response from him! LOL!

Well, I'm not sure what ebay's rules are about pictures, but technically it doesn't say anywhere that the pony pictured is the one for sale, nor does it say that the pony for sale is even a genuine My Little Pony. And you definitely did get a pony with "xmas markings"! I still think he owes you a refund or the correct pony. And if he intentionally duped you, that seller is a rat!

EDIT: Whoops, I didn't read the part where he said he's sending the right pony! I think the whole situation is pretty funny, worth a good laugh when you have the correct pony in hand.

Oh my word that would have thrown a zillion different emotions coursing through my veins at once!

So glad he's sorry and he says he's sending the right pony. As others have said, don't count your chickens and all that, but at least he owned up to it being a mistake and you should be awaiting the right new herd member in the post now :)

That's great that he is trying to correct the problem. I would still make E-bay/Paypal aware of the situation if you don't have the pony before the end of your buyer protection period. I was nice about a seller sending economy eventhough I paid for airmail since they said they mis-judged the shipping cost. I didn't post a claim since economy would have taken longer than the protection period and ended up getting screwed. That was when I was new to E-Bay and it was not a nice learning experience.

Hope it all works out.

Glad to hear that he's going to correct the problem. Cause man, that whole "Xmas markings" thing seemed suspicious to me too.

She's beautiful. :) Congrats on finally getting her. Thank goodness the seller seemed to be honest.

I too guess it was just a mistake. Maybe the wife was at her computer checking out her sold items and yelled at her husband to "Put that purple pony in an envelope It sold!" or something to that effect. I could see that happening at my house if I allowed my hubby to package up ponies. :)

I had a simular thing happen to me once. I won Fireball and Masquerade in a lot and I recived a Carebear (My heart must have stopped for a few minutes)
By mistake the seller had sent my ponies to France where someone wanting the carebear lived.
We manage to clear everything out and I got my ponies :)

Good thing you got your Kimono! She's beautiful!

I'm so glad you got your pony! People seem to love eBay for it's easy money making potential, but they don't realize how much work really goes into it!

At least he didn't try to just ignore you!

He didn't ignore me at all the entire time and it was actually a pleasant transaction other than the horrible mistake. I've learned a LOT about being patient on eBay...especially when things are coming from overseas. I left him positive feedback because he really did go out of his way to make me happy and it really was human error. Kimono is beautiful. I just LOVE that pony!!!

So another eBay issue now closed!! :D

Oh poor guy. I just looked at his feedback and seems like he's having a problem with another buyer. How awful.

oh I know how people feel with unfair deals, someone tried to scam me into giving him more pokemon cars claiming he 'lost them in the post' but magically SOME of them appeared.

Kimono's a beauty, nicely done *gives cookie*

Uhrm...the fakie isn't THAT bad, I think he's kinda sweet.
Then again I do own a few fakies so I have to say that
