My G1 ponies are becoming "sticky", any suggestion

Hi

My original g1's are becoming sticky, its hard to describe, like gummy-ish and I am not sure what to do, I had a Brandy the dog that was getting sticky so I wiped him and all his paint came off, any ideas how to clean the ponies, the main ones are Peachy and Butterscotch, and I didn't use anything on them, and they are mine from childhood, they feel kinda tacky, any ideas?

Please help.
