So while I was out searching for Grownup Clothes (I'm graduating from college in December and all I own is jeans!), I talked my mother into going to Toys R Us with me. I had absolutely NO idea that there was a set of birthflower ponies out in the G3 line, so OF COURSE we found them all at the local TRU. I grabbed my birthday month (December) first. Then I thought, "Crap, if I get this one, I'll have to get ALL of them." (Pony logic!) Which, at five bucks a pony, is sixty bucks, and I already spent my pony budget for the month.
Mom tried to talk me into splitting the cost with her, which was tempting, but still not a great idea. (I spent money getting a pearlized baby and Cool Breeze this month.) Mom then did something completely AWESOME and purchased the whole herd for me! I couldn't believe it, but she loves that I collect something so silly and childlike, so I guess she's okay with footing the bill for such a huge influx of ponies!
ANYWAY! Enough exposition, and onto the herd!
The whole herd with their brushes!
January Carnation and February Violet
March Daffodil and April Daisy
May Lily of the Valley and June Rose
July Larkspur and August Gladiolus
September Aster and October Calendula
November Chrysanthemum and December Poinsettia
Anyone have any idea when these girls were released? I had absolutely no clue about them since I'm not really a huge G3 fan. These were just too cute to resist, especially since some of them sport haircolors I haven't seen before! (Just look at the rosy color on January and the grapey one on July!) Have they been particularly difficult to find? There were LOADS of them at TRU, I was really surprised.
