We've recently moved, and the new Pony Room is being sorted by gen, then by release date (previously it was by color, which was dazzling but, they've assured me, not very professional :) ). Looking for wall decoration ideas. We'd like to do something for each gen, and so far have a G1 patent poster and some prints of the fronts of G2 comics.

Almost every one of these ponies is thrift/flea/yardsale, with the exception of the G2s which were special occasion splurges. We love to scan eBay, but once you add in the shipping charges things tend to be out of our price range! As a result, we have a lot of random bits like pieces of the Show Stable, and a lot of missing bits for the playsets we do have.

There are still lots of accessories and PonyWear in bins in the closet -- wondering if folks typically display all the little accessories that aren't part of playsets, and (if so) how to display them attractively?

They are a lucky kid to have their own room for ponies! Most parents would not give up extra rooms for this.

So many lovely ponies, I love how they've been organized. What did you use for risers in the G1 section? Boxes? Its perfect height

Thanks for sharing!

The risers are Trading Card boxes that the previous owner of the house had left (he collected baseball cards). They work really well, and are much cheaper than buying risers on amazon! They were fold-up cardboard, something like these: https://tinyurl.com/4b3nv5fn

Quite the beautiful collection!

I love this! Your teen is so lucky to have a pony room for their own-congrats to them! :)

I keep my accessories in a storage tote. I'm not sure how to hang them, to be honest!

This is so :rainbow1:~beautiful~:rainbow2:

How to display accessories is a good question and one I really don't have a great answer to... maybe a shadow box of some kind? I think usually people just dress the ponies in the pony wear to display it, or keep it stored away.
