Yes, it's best to focus on the great people who will adopting these critters instead of the creeps who abuse them. I am constantly stunned at what people will do to animals, but it shouldn't surprise me Ii guess, The lady who's adopting out Duke is traveling from Oklahoma City and has waited for a fluffy puppy (any kind, any gender, even with medical issues, so I know she's a generous, patient gal) for almost a year. Knowing how happy she and Duke will be makes it worthwhile. You do great work, helping those animals!
I cannot imagine the people who dump newborn puppies and kitties, most of all. They know they're practically killing them. We had someone leave a sack of kittens directly behind the back tire of my brother's car. If he hadn't decided to look all around the car before he left, hew would have run them over? Why did they put them in such a dangerous spot? And all alone? Ugh. I don't want to understand.
