Need pony hair and know how

I have a pony that needs to be rehaired, a project I have never attempted before. I'm looking for info. on where to get the hair (NorthStar's purple) and how to do instructions. Both the mane and tail need to be done. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Many people have their own personal faves for hair purchase and where they like to get it from. Dollyhair.com seems to be a leading favorite though. As for methods of rehairing, there are really 2 widely known techniques. There is the tool method (which is sold by LadyDayDreamer and can be purchased also on ebay) and the other method is the thread or dental floss with needle. The FAQ's tutorials will give you a lot of info on how these methods are done. I hope this helps you out.
