New PayPal regulations

I've been meaning to look into it too since I've got mine connected to my seller account on etsy and other places. Though etsy lets you buy and sell one one account so IDK why I paypal can't figure it out too. :|

Edit: Ok, here's the article: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/upcoming-policies-full

All they're saying is that business and personal accounts can no longer send "As friends" to each other (ie, without paying the fee).

Personal to personal accounts can still send "as friends" without the fee (remember--no fee = NO buyer protection).

It was worded poorly in the article though, and sounds very misleading, but if you look into the relevant terms of service it explains more clearly.

Yeah, that makes sense. A lot of people we're getting around the fees and taxes using F&F.

I probably should go ahead and make business acct anyway to separate my non-business purchases from my income. ^^;
