Nowhere near a "girly" person, love the Barbie movies.

Most of them, anyway.

So I am pretty much one of the least "girly" girls I know. I'm so un-"girly" I have to put speech marks around the word girly, becuse the word girly implies the meaning of something typical of a girl and bla bla bla feminism and stuff. But there is one exception (I'm just going to leave out MLP here because that's a different topic); Barbie. Gosh, I love the Barbie movies. Mostly. The classics aren't really anything to go by; it's the modern ones I crave. Princess Charm Sch0ol? Love it! Well written, fresh plot, interesting character development, everything I could say about an episode of MLP. The Princess and the Popstar? An modern take on a Barbie classic, has a whole plot of it's own, etc. I could go on, but you get my point. Also, the love interest aren't just personality-less dreamboys anymore. They're quirky, interesting.

MODERN BARBIE RULES

Most people consider me a tomboy but I love and collect barbies. I think it's good to not fit into a particular label but to be diverse in your interests.

I like them too, though most of the time I make sure to do it when no one's around. Ahaha I feel a bit embarrassed to be seen watching them.

Ponies are my girly pleasure. I'm huge into splatter films and gore, so some of my friends were stunned to find out behind all the death and destruction, I had tubs of Ponies I was playing with.

I hate the whole idea that i can't like comics and transformers because I'm a woman or that my son shouldn't like Ponies because he is male. Gender roles are stuff and nonsense. This girls does what her heart tells her!

Which I why I had to bonk all those field mice.

I love the Barbie movies. I can watch em in secret every saturday morning on TV (Mexican channel lol)
