O.O I can finally use MLPTP again!

Wow I've probably been away from the TP for almost 9 months! Partially because I had such problems loading the TP (ie. TP would load halfway for me and dies). I just switched to using Firefox today and realised IE 8 is the root of ALL BROWSING PROBLEMS I HAD! I tend to end up with alternate window tabs not loading despite my internet being completely fine. I really hated IE 8 (IE7.5 was so much better) and didn't know why I didn't thinkt o switch earlier, could have saved me all the surfing agony.

I wonder how's everyone. I've been on the arena, but seems like nothing much has been going on but all the same old topics, and I keep seeing people selling their collections. I on the other hand have been doing a bit of buying (pocket = OUCH)^^ It's been cheaper lately to acquire ponies I have been wanting but never found the right prices for. Satin Slipper liquidated many in her collection, and I happen to have won her Baby Sugarberry & UUP, so I've finally COMPLETED my TAF babies (official ones at least)!!!!! WHEEEE! Don;t worry SS, your babies are in safe hands. :D I never thought that was possible, so I'm too happy for words. It's odd but I just realised that half my TAF babies are actually from Australia!!! My Baby Dancing Butterflies was won off a lady in Brisbane when I was living there for AUD$50. The lady was nice enough to tip me off about where she got them from, she found 5 of the 6 TAF babies for 50 cents each at Salvos and sold them for more than $50 each. Lucky person!

In case you are wondering, the earth Baby Sweet Tooth is made by myself, and the unicorn Milkyway was made many years ago by soemone called baby_gloomy. I'm still seeking for a custom earth Baby Up up & Away and Baby Scoops in baby Quacker's pose, and a Baby Milkyway in Baby Noddin's pose before I truly consider my TAF babies wantlist truly complete.

Also got a roamnce pony off SS that reunited with my Baby Ribbons & Hearts as her mama.

I've also been on a Mexican pony rampage, still missing Auriken Blue Belle with sky blue eyes. I just won another Mexi Moondancer that looks like an upgrade. I'll decide when she arrives, and the extra will be up for sale or trade. Blossom's cheekblushes faded to white when she arrived with a chip in the center, so I tried to patch it up with my own paint...think I overdid it. Now she has baboon's arse on her face. She has to be one of my fav pony in that pose. <3

Last but not least, NESTIE BABIES!!!! My friend had chosen to give up her babies, and sold them to me for a nice price. I'm ever thankful :D Now if she's willing to sell me her large symbol Nightlight. lol

Wish I have more pics to share, but I'm like a load of bread, I sit around and do nothing all day, even when I'm busy! But these are somewhat the cream of what I've been getting. I love them to bits ^^
 
Oh GoldenClopper, how I've missed all your pony pictures and picfics, and your opinions as well!
It's so nice to have you back. Who knew about that IE 8 issue, I hope it isn't the cause of other members going AWOL. :( I've always been a Foxfire girl, so I haven't noticed any issues with IE. Glad you're back either way!

I love your TAF babies, that's so funny that you've gotten most of them from Australia!
TAF Baby Sweet Tooth Earth looks so true to her Mommy, she looks great!

all the brissie pony people leave! I'm from brissie myself, and would have loved to have met you had you still lived there! I've only just lived there a year now... I'm still relatively new to the city life.. tons more ponies! Funny though, now that I'm actively looking, they seem to have dried up!

SoSoftClaire - I think IE8 might be responsible for some for the AWOL out there lol but I think the G3s & Core7 is probably the prime reason why no one has any interests for ponies anymore.

kar Red Roses - I miss you too Karen! I was chatting with Renee on AIM the other day, and I was telling her how much I miss those days in NYC! You guys rocked! Missed the days of being able to just give you guys a call, meet up at Tribeca park, and then heading somewhere for some fun. And was it you who had the MOC Nightlight? I still have the image of her swimming in my head lol

Stormness_1 - Oh boy, you are 2 years too late! LOL We could have been pony hunting buddies. I hated Salvos shopping though since they never had anything worth looking out for and the staff always gave me the look like old toys ought to belong to the garbage instead of recycling bin. I can't remember where, but one of the suburbs has tons of 2nd hand shops. My friends took me there once, but the name just escapes me. You need to take a train out from the city though. I lived in Kelvin Grove, and loved walking to Paddington - so posh!- although I really wished I had a car when we had to traverse the steep hill @.@ City shopping is quite plain. it's really either Myer, Target, Big W or Mr Toys. I normally hop between the city and Chermside, since Chermy has almost all the big store names there, and their sales selections are also quite sizeable. Speaking of Aus, oh I miss Red Rooster so much! I wonder how much Brisbane has changed :...( I really want to make a trip back, but fares to Brisbane is almost as expensive as fares to the west coast of USA these days, and personally, I prefer to visit the US, it's much more exciting there for me. *sheepish look* I really wish I have more money to do more travelling. Oh well...
