G4 Original or special edition?

Which do you prefer? (If you like them at all) I'm loving sparkly Fluttershy, but sparkly twilight didn't appeal. I was just wondering what everyone thinks. I'm probably never going to have any as they are pretty spendy. Worth it, though,

it would have been better if they just did the glitter hair and not change the skin color. Poor Fluttershy looks sick...
I only have the original fluttershy and only plan on buying the miku one after that. I love figures but I'll stick to my $30 prize figures lol

Somehow, they managed to make the limited edition ones look better than the original Equestia Girls with their colours and I have no idea how

I would like at least one of them or even the Miku one but there’s no room on my shelves…

I think the sparkly one with the more yellowish skin tone is super pretty But they’re so expensive that I probably won’t ever buy any lol

I don't know I like them both in there own way but I do think the other in this set look better but either way I could never afford it maybe one day if I was going to spend that kind Cash it would probably be on twilight Sparkle

But I too like both equally. I like that the pastel versions are in true EQG form, but I also appreciate the natural skin tones too. I still hold out hope I will find just the ponies for sale one day.

These are beautiful, but not my thing. If I were to choose, though, I'd probably choose glitter because I love glitter. Also, I'm not advocating this, but I think that you can order cheap replicas from AliExpress or Taobao.

There are other companies that make similar figurines for anime that aren't nearly so exclusive or expensive. I just got my girl a neznko figurine with her box. The kotobukiya figures are just generally the highest quality and attention to detail.

I’m biased because I have all of the originals with Celestia and Luna on preorder (RiP wallet, yet can’t wait for Miku) but the Special Editions never appealed to me. Actually thought Twilight looked downright bad and Fluttershy looks sick in a bad way. Special Edition Rarity doesn’t look bad at all though, I must say. But I prefer the human skin tones. Just wish they made more than just Rainbow Dash and Luna dark skinned! Twilight for example would’ve looked great with darker skin, those are my favorite humanizations of her (fun fact: An Equestria Girls concept art where they had human skin tones gave her dark skin too).
