I decided she deserved her own thread. I found these little dolls with long puff hair and decided to use it for a Bowtie and @Twinkle-eye graciously gave me a bald one to use. Finally got the time to hair her up!

She has 2 tones of pink. Hard to get it in the light I have

This hair is dreamy! After you took it from the dolls was it easy to work with and root?

Rooting itself was the same. However taking strands apart was hard. It came apart easily and I have to make sure I don’t pull.it wasn’t one long strand, it was multiple pieces layered if it makes sense? I can’t brush her, hair will still pull away
 
Oh that's interesting, is it similar stuff to needle felting wool I wonder? Even if it's delicate, she still has an awesome 'do!

I wondered that too. I've never done felting to compare. I finger-brushed her to get most of the loose strands out so I think she's okay, but I wouldn't brush her at all. just leave her to happy display!

A little spritz with some hairspray may offer a little additional security to the hold of the strands!
 
I love her so much! She looks perfect with all that hair!

They have a mint scented one of those dolls that I want!
Just imagine giving a Minty her mint hair!

Yep! I remember when they came out like 3 years ago, I really enjoyed watching the doll reviews!
Here's the commercial for them I love the bit at the end "fun to play with not to eat!" :rofl:

Interesting dolls!! I'm always on the lookout for puff hair but I'm not personally a fan of using wool roving (the stuff used in needle felting) because it has no sheen to it. I wonder what this is made out of. If I had a sample I'd do a burn test, muahaha...
Any plans to trim her hair to puff length? That would make her look really authentic! <3
