Petite Pony Modification

Hello all! My husband is one of the top Space Wolf players and has gotten me into 40K...but I run Drukhari. I've been very carefully shaving and filing down a rearing petite pony to be a base for a resin cast, and I would like to know how to get all the paint off before I cast it. Will acetone work on petite ponies to remove paint the way it will on full sized ponies, or do I need something else to strip the paint?

100% Acetone and a q-tip will do the trick.
