I may have found and adult willing to go with us! Either way, it looks like E’s going. I got their membership/tickets. Not going to enter any contests, but definitely wanting a cosplay for each day. I’ll see if I’m going closer to march.

Awesome!! I think it'll be more relaxing for you all to not enter contests this year. I've entered their costume contest once and judged twice, and it is a big investment of time and energy either way! Watching the runway show is fun and inspiring, and takes much less time away from the rest of the convention.

I’m going to plan on going. However, I don’t need to book the hotel yet, so I can cancel if needed. E did decide to just try to go and enjoy. Maybe if we’re successful, they can enter contests in 2024, but we’ve got time, so no stressing allowed.

Perfect!! Check if the hotel requires any payment up front and what is their cancellation process/policy. If you can reserve a space without any penalty for canceling, it's good to book soon after hotel blocks are announced, for peace of mind Yes, no stressing!
