Pony Packing... Again...

So, my pony collection has made six moves with me now - five of those were cross-country moves. And here I am, boxing them up again for another move. I am at 11 boxes so far (some plastic tubs and others cardboard)... how many more will it take?! Any guess what the final box count will be?

Have any of you done a lot of moving with your collection? What have your experiences been?
 
@CJ Thimble Bright - I moved once a year for like 8 years, for the last few year I stopped fully unpacking things. So, I feel your pain.

As far as guessing how many boxes for just ponies, I think I need some more information. How long has it been since your last move? How many boxes were used in your last move? Are you packing just ponies or other things in boxes? Are you a Tetris champion?
 
I'm putting in for 18 total boxes LOL

I can't give you much advice, my collection was limited to one bookcase before we bought our house. Now I have a whole pony room and therefore will never be able to move from this house! I will be here until I die cause there is no way I would want to try packing all that up! God speed friend!

Yeah, these moves have happened in the last 10 years, so not every single year - but still a lot. We also have a few boxes in the garage that haven't been repacked since the first time we left Idaho in 2010...

Last move: Idaho to Arizona July 2018

Last move box total: I don't remember! I do have boxes labeled "1 of 7" "3 of 7" etc. But can't remember if that was from the move to Washington or from Washington. Lol.

What goes in the boxes: all the ponies, all the playsets, puzzles, games, accessories, clothing... ALL THE THINGS!

Tetris Championship: in my household, I am considered the champ of boardgame packing (my husband's collection, which took more than 30 moving boxes when we left Michigan) and that's pretty much like playing real-life Teris.
 
When I moved with my collection there were lots of storage and sandwich baggies used.
 
I'll say 15. I just wish I could come help pack! I find packing very satisfying and we've been in the same place over 7 years now.
