Well, more like pony corner lol. I have a free wall with enough room for some ikea Billy bookshelves. (The space is 65" w, 96" h). I've got a tv that needs to fit in there too and vanity I can't really move.

So I was thinking either a) one normal shelf and one short shelf or b) two skinny shelves on either side of one short shelf.

Any riser suggestions are appreciated too.

I personally like two tall one's on each side. Seems more balanced with your dresser.
I use these risers. I actually found mine at Ross's for like $5 each.
3pcs/pack Non Skid 3 Tier Lazy Susan White Grey Silicon Surface Spice Racks Kitchen Can Shelf Home Countertop Organizer Bathroom Storage Pantry Cabinet, 14.4"/36.5cm (W) X 9.5"/24cm(D) X 3.3"/8.5cm(H) https://a.co/d/e11cItx

But. I have seen some clear ones that I may try at some point because you don't see them.

I like the direction you are going in!!

Yeah, I like that too. I just worry it's going to be difficult to get to the tv and the outlet. The vanity is real wood so it's a pain to move and I don't think the skinny ones are very stable so they might need to be anchored.

Saving those risers for future reference! I'll have to see if my chonky cabbage patch ponies will fit lol ^^;

Do you have a pic of said room? so we can get a better visual? If not, I like the two taller shelves on either side of the dresser for balance.

I use an expandable spice rack: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QSDGB6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
They come in different sizes and I like that I can adjust the width to the size I need, and the smaller one worked for my babies. There's a "Mega" size that might work with larger ponies.

i have the two shelves set up on either side of the TV layout for my G3s, here's a pic to maybe help you visualize better:

what i do for risers is cut up acid free plain foam board to the size i need and glue together. it's a lot more work than buying premade ones, but way cheaper and more customizable. the tutorial i used: How to Make Display Risers From Foam Board

These are the shelves I have!

I may be getting two more, i think they are roughly a little over 2 feet wide? ah no, just a little under 2 feet wide.

But they are adjustable and i like them!

Dunno if this information helps at all but its what i have lol

I can snap a photo when I get home. I've got my tv on a totally unsuitable rolling cart RN tho lol. Oooh, mega size rack might be perfect! I'll have to pull out a cpk pony and measure it.

Oh my gosh I love this setup! Y'all might be swaying me lol. I love the addition of the floating shelves above the tv. That might solve my problem of being able to get the cords and stuff of my DVD player and Switch. Saving that DIY, I love the idea of custom risers (tho I already have a billion projects lol).

If they had the skinny ones like the Billy line does it might work. I'm not seeing any tho. I'd love to get them from target instead and skip the shipping but I think I prefer being able to match them in future, hmm...

If you end securing whatever shelves to the wall and they are thick material that can take extra hole, you may put up a TV holder onto the side of one, and move TV attached to it out of sight when not in use, so it does not obscure the ponies.

...This sounds less understandable than I thouggt ><'

what are the dimensions of the one you got? im looking at them on amazon and the dimensions don't seem consistent with what im seeing in pictures.. lol. mainly concerned about the overall depth & height. but i'd love something like this for my shelves

To give you more shelving options you could do a wall Mount for the TV. Or even floating shelves for the TV/ponies. ;) :orangeheart::butters:

@DracoKat Here's a pic of the area (sorry my room is messy lol)

And a couple of mock ups.

I could theoretically move one of these pieces where the vanity is but I'd prefer not to. They're both skinnier and taller tho.

Do you mean like a swing arm mount? Or attaching directly to the shelves? The shelves are particle board; I'd be comfortable setting a tv on top but not trying to screw it on.

I am really liking the idea of floating shelves above the tv. As for the tv, unless I could get someone else to do it I'm not comfortable wall mounting. I'm not even sure it's got the hardware for it lol

i think the shelves surrounding the tv are pretty and more balanced, but i think id personally feel trapped by them for some reason

I absolutely love and recommend the shelves any day ❤️

Looks like a great solution. We have those shelves in our game room with all of our toys in bins. They are great
