I read the rules and my home site is not a sales site. It just a place to blog and showcase my work, so I hope it is OK that I posted it <3 If not, you can totally remove it :)

‘Goonies never die!’ (I live pretty close to that beach ;) ). I’d love to see a ‘princess bride’ one… lol there’s a reason my Wesley is my man in black!:)

That is a great idea! 'Rodents of unusual size!' Ha :p

It has been a while since I checked in or shared, but I have been busy! We have a spring show coming up, so I am doing a series of 80's toon pieces as well as some other really neat stuff. I have to show this gorgeous custom picture frame I made too, the moon lights up! I do a lot of custom work for local people, so if you want to follow what I am working on I update my FB page more than my site: https://www.facebook.com/RaspberrySoiree/

I forgot to add, I am now also working on wreaths with various characters that I love. This is one I am currently working on that is WoZ themed <3

I was thinking ... You could, with a little more depth, and objects in more relief, transition into to doing full-on assemblages :winkpony:... just sayin'

BUT These have such snazzy graphics, and really take into account the beauty of the fonts and the words, and the spirit of the fandom. The square frame composition is lovely and focused, and they catch the light so nicely. I love when the text is printed on the glass. It makes you have a double-take: it's not subtitles, but actually floating there interacting with the background. They're really sweet!

Have you ever thought of doing your own non-fandom themes? I see you did a portrait.

Thank you for the suggestions! I have some neat ideas I have sketched out for some original work, I just need to figure out how to do them. My hubby helps with that. Yes, I do a lot of custom work. Most of those are picture collages that people like to give as gifts. They come out beautifully. Honestly most of my sales come from custom work. One person will order and share a picture on their FB and then I get 3-5 sales. I often do not have time to take pictures of everything I do, but I try. I will attach a few more of the photo frames. Since C0V!D kind of destroyed get togethers (I used to make a lot of party decor), I found these shadow boxes fun to do. I craft as a little hobby outside of my day to day. I am a Stay at Homeschooling Mom, so you have to find time for yourself or you get really overwhelmed.

I have an idea! First of all; these are beautiful, and very 1880's-1920's, which I love. They are childlike/sentimental, yet sophisticated/vintage. When I read Alice in Wonderland (in college) I went through with colored pencils and really spent time on the images. Then, later, when I was thinking about the sea ponies I thought "what a ridiculous idea, sea-horses with brushable hair...that's so Alice in Wonderland!" So that's my idea, the sea ponies (and the babies with their floats that refer to yet a third animal? cuteness overload!) in a shadow box with Alice. I guess it's because the "horsefly" is also a "rocking horse fly." LOL. Anyway, these would definitely take my attention if one were on a wall in a house with nice paintings.

I absolutely love this idea. I am getting ready for a big craft show this weekend, but I am going to get on this. I may even pull out my pencils and do my own sketches. It has been ages since I sketched anything. Thank you for the wonderful idea! I can actually picture it in my mind.

My space in a local artist co-op. I am thinking of switching gears though. I am doing a lot more custom work these days and weddings and things. My kids do the Perler beads and they do pretty well with them. They use the proceeds for charity <3
