I have lots of pets but here was one of my neatest. I rescue and rehabilitate opossums and this is one I raised. She was a non release and I loved that little turd. Unfortunately she passed away in the spring.

Aw... I love opossums! Wesley killed one once, but I rescued it's sibling from him and they were able to release her this year!

They are really cool animals. I raised a group of seven babies and a pair this year for release. The one above was from a previous litter of 13. That was a lot of babies! She had broken her tail and while the vet helped and she healed it never worked right so she lived with me till she passed away. She climbed everything just using those little hands.

Here is my kitty Clarice! She is a rescue. I found her wandering the streets when she was still little. Now she is spoiled lol! She is also names after Clarice from silence of the lambs! 1st pic is her being naughty sitting in clean laundry lol ,2nd is me and her&3rd is her at the local park.

Our Pekingese Princess Roobie Sparklepants (or "Roobie," so named 9 years ago by my then-preschooler) had to go to the vet today, so he wasn't sure about that. Same child who is now a teen ran to her room, grabbed $4 and told me to stop at a drive through on the way home and get him a hamburger for "being a good boy at the vet." Just the normal ridiculousness that goes on at my house on a daily basis. View attachment 43216

Wow! He looks just like my childhood dog Hulky who was a peke passed away a few years ago. I'll share a photo is a second they look so much alike!
Edit: this is him at his 6th birthday!

Omg, my opossum was named Hannibal because she liked to bite.

I’ve got some pics of my kitties to share now too I didn’t wanna make my post too long by having both dogs and all the cats in one lol
First up is Simba (left)and Boots(right)who are brothers and both are 7 (though boots was so much smaller when we got him that I always say he’s the younger brother). They’re both so photogenic I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a bad pic of them

And here is their sister Jasmine, they’re all from the same litter but she’s the only tortoise shell one and since she’s so dark she’s harder to photograph here’s the best ones I’ve got

And finally the baby he’s around 2 years old (we will have had him for 2 years on October 1st but we think he was born in August), here’s Twig. He likes to use Biscuit’s tail as a pillow ^_^
