Hi! This is my Prickles (photos below), dragon to my Princess Aquamarine (UK version of Princess Serena), which I lost years ago and Prickles is the only item I have left of that set. I think he's called Prickles because he's supposed to stop his Princess from daydreaming too much... But when I was little I just called him Spike :p

I've seen him sell for 90 US dollars (plus shipping) both on Etsy and Ebay, but they were in much better condition than mine. So I'm offering him for 90 US dollars (or either 73 British Pounds, 83 Euros, 121 Canadian dollars) with shipping included (meaning, no extra shipping fees), or best offer. If interested in buying, please send me a private message. If you have Argentine pesos, or any other currency not mentioned above, send me a private message to establish the price for those currencies.

Currently, I can accept payments through PayPal.

NOTE: If a buyer is established, I will send Prickles ONLY when payment has reached my PayPal account. I will send him certified, requiring a signature upon receipt, and acknowledgment of receipt (meaning, the postal service will let me know once the package has been received). The delivery itself takes up 7 to 15 days, depending on destination.

He's been thoroughly cleaned, but there are things that I couldn't improve: chipped paint on spikes and feet; a pinkish hue on both sides of the body, which seem like discoloration; this pink hue is even more pink on one of his nostrils, the inside of one ear and his bottom... The tips of the ears suffer from ageing.. There is some smudging of paint at base of tail and one eye that look like manufacturing issues, he probably always has had those. But the eyes are well preserved, he smells fine and there are no tears or bite marks or severe damage, other than that incurred by the passage of time... The first spike of his head has like a small dent, but I've seen this in other photos of Prickles, so I think it's a manufacturing issue as well. The second and third spike also have some irregularities, but have no idea how those might've happened..

Just look at that goofy face :greenheart:

Ebay, Mercari, Etsy, Poshmark.. a few sites to name. Of course they all take seller fees for each sale.
I think Ebay and Mercari is most popular to sell ponies on.

Plus, it's safer considering you can't do paypal, you can link your account to your bank and there's protection on both parties.

He's cute!
I think it will be hard to sell him with the way you are able to accept payment. There are far too many scams, and people like to have buyer protection. Wiring money to someone unknown is not safe.
Hopefully you can use a larger platform to give buyers that sense of security.

I prefer to shop on Ebay.
I understand. To be honest, since selling on Ebay from Argentina is less straightforward than in other countries, with all of the fees I'd incur, it just isn't a good deal for me, and I'd rather just keep him... But I'll be sure to let you know in case I change my mind ;)

I know... The platform fees are an issue and it just doesn't seem to be worth it for me right now... I'm pretty sure I can only use a Paypal account in order to sell on Ebay from Argentina, I can't transfer directly to my bank account, plus I need a third party to transfer from Paypal to my bank account, and they all charge fees... :(

I'm aware, yes... But using the larger platforms involve so many fees that it starts to make little sense to me to even try to sell my small collection of not super rare items (Prickles is the most rare that I've got, and maybe a Snugglebum...) Those big platforms do not operate in my country and require third parties to transfer any money to my bank account.. I might consider them, but they are way less convenient for me and I end up with so little of the item's value if I use the price posted here... If anyone is unhappy with the item, I would of course wire the money back once the item is returned to me. And there is almost zero chance of not receiving the item from me because it would be certified and requires acknowledgment of receipt, so delivery is pretty much guaranteed, specially if the destination has a reliable postal service.

I'll be posting some more items, and I'll see how it goes and adjust my expectations accordingly. Thanks for the advice, though :)

Fine. It's your choice, after all.

Hi all. Prickles is still available, if anyone is interested. I haven't put him up for sale on any other platform but I have updated my accepted payment method to PayPal ;)
