Well, I dont know what I did wrong, but the sculpy first kept going dry and brittle before I baked it :( So it kept crumbling.

Then when I tried to pierce it to make hair holes... well, the plastic underneath bent too much and it crumbled more. so I used pins to try and keep the holes open...

But when I tried to take the pins out, it all crumbled I'm at wits; end. This was a comjission for someone and its just not working. I dont know how to get the skull to have fire coming out of it without hair holes...

I'm just at wits' end on what to do really... The skull was turning out so nicely too, danrit

are you using regular white sculpy?

Please don't! Regular sculpy is nothing but crud. Try Sculpy III, or at least Super Sculpy. Careful if you rehair after you bake with it. it will split.

Maybe try using the apoxie sculpt stuff?

While we're on the subject, where can you get Super Sculpey or Sculpey III? The only store around here that seems to have Sculpey has just the regular kind.

Usually a craft store or a store with crafting supplies- I have found it at Michaels and AC Moore.

Be warned- it comes in small packages and is a bit expensive, but is soo worth it! (I get mine on sale)
