I decided I wanted to make an art dump thread, for those.... somewhat rare things I'm sure I do want to post.

Today's first up is a piece I just finished. I was looking at my new-to-me colorswirl, Stripey's face. I love the colorswirl ponies and always have, but looking at her then I imagined Star Fantasy having a glitter version across both eyes, something that looked a little more like war paint than it already does.

The above is very much the intended version, and personally the version I like more, but I thought I would give shading a go just to see how it looked.

Hehehehe, honestly, so would I.

Dude when I was a kid, still seemingly a little babbu as far as understanding the internet and the customs community, browsing the web looking at as many amazing G3 customs as my mind could take in, the "My Little Allen" custom by Spippo on DA stood out to me so much. Like it's one of those things I've remembered through thick and thin, I've wanted to do something of an homage to that for so long, this was such a perfect opportunity to finally do it.

That said, now I'm thinking about all of the horror + MLP things I'd love to see done well... Dead Space (ONE) and Cry of Fear would be TOP of my list!! I'd start a whole horror shelf.

Yeeeeeeeeeeessssss And some necromorch ponies, too! There are quite a few excellent candidates there - (checking the wiki for the names) the slasher, the lurker, exploder, and the wheezer would be my picks. ....Sadly the Leviathan doesn't work as a pony haha, but I can totally imagine it as like a stained glass window-style background for a necromorph pony design.

Dude from Cry of Fear like, personally I love Simon and want to give him lots of hugs; it's hard to translate people to ponies in a way that doesn't look weird or unfitting. So with or without managing that feat, I'd love to see some of the monsters converted! Especially the Faster, my favourite of the bunch, followed by perhaps the Taller. Some of the others I like are also hard to translate into ponies.

I did this one over a year ago, but I am pretty proud of this piece and would love to show off some of these important characters of mine. c:

This one is Crystal Frame, a particularly decorated mare with the powers of foresight (psychic) and crystal generation. She has severe anxiety due to being the daughter of a dictator, named a "princess" and often used as the face of his rule, making her a frequent target for rebellions. She doesn't dare speak out against her father, but she doesn't agree with him either, so she joins the heroes in order to escape it all.

(Please do not quote my descriptions, as I may want to remove them later.)

I know I really should just write the book already haha, there've been some key elements I've been struggling to get sorted out though. Every time I have an idea I realize it has a probably fetal flaw. Probably. Actually honestly I could probably use some help with my stories, but I haven't had anyone to help me.

Anyway, would you guys be interested in learning more about my characters? I have quite a few.

I went a little bit ham. ouo I don't usually do BGs at all, so this was a challenge! It's taken me all day to make, but I managed to give it a pretty similar vibe and look to what I'd had in mind.

I've also kept a BG-less version! I think it's also quite cool~

This is Warp! He is the main character of my story, the very same one as Crystal Frame shared above.

Warp was living a mostly normal life in his tribe, working hard every day and learning to become the next leader, when war strikes and the battlefield sweeps through his home. Forced to face a reality he never could have imagined and a threat far greater than the world has ever seen, Warp sets out on his journey to find help while barely managing to keep himself together.

I've never done anything for pride month before, and I've really not ever made a point to talk about it or share it much either... I've been trying to share it a little bit more openly in certain spaces over the past couple of months or so, but I guess this is an official "coming out" for me.

Great job on the animation, it looks so nice and smooth :) she’s very cute
