Random Acts of Kindness custom for Dollyhair company

I felt this custom deserves a thread of it's own, however it is probably also about due time I do a larger custom update thread as well.

So this pony is designed around the dollyhair logo cause I mailed it to the dollyhair company as a Random Acts of Kindness event I set up. I contacted very close trusted friends I've known for years and we all followed through and delivered so I'm sharing this creation now.
I've been a customer of dollyhair for 12 years, I've seen their ups and downs and saw them pull them selves up after crashing. I've seen their ugly side, I've seen them be a sturdy business for the most part. It is always wise to act in kindness cause none of us knows how long any of us have left. I'm not always a good example of this myself but this whole event of witnessing dollyhair's rollercoaster of the years has really changed me. Just within the past couple months even.
It taught me a lesson also to keep myself guarded when people pop up and claim how much they love me and my art and want to be good buddies right off the bat- they're the first to stab you.

So with all that said, here's a very emotionally motivated piece.

Craft details:

I’ve come up with a heavily inspired design based off of their site logos and images.
Pony base used is a fakie I found at Walmart, coated it in white gesso then given a pale pink full body repaint. Her cutie mark is the site’s logo, with a few more glittery hearts. Eyes are painted based off of the cartoon doll on the site, mildly embellished in my own style. Horn is white, metallic white and white glitter layered acrylics.
All paint work sealed in Testors spray sealant.

Mane and tail are of course, rooted in dollyhair.com’s famous Hasbro quality nylon hairs in the colors: haunted forest, venom, candy apple, razzle dazzle/strawberry mousse blend, ***** cat and snowflake. Mane and tail permanently styled in dollyhair’s hair gel method.
Outfit has hand sewn fabric leggings with layered mesh, layered trims. The flank, chest and head have various layered laces and trims, ribbon/bow embellishments and rhinestones.
Lots of love went into this, may the own Rest In Peace.
