thought i'd start a thread for collection updates like some other folks have. these additions are from a few months ago up to a week or so ago!

purchased these beauties from @Moonbreeze a bit ago. sunburst brings my mountain boy count up to 5/6 and peacock was the last fair pony i needed (aside from bay breeze/frisco/trolley :tongue:)

green apple had most of her mane already gone when i bought her. needless to say i still need to get to her rehair lol. i have a weird fondness for the discount singles ponies.

my mom found sweetsong plush and midnight dream at the flea market for me. plush was $3 and pony was $2.

lastly i purchased @peepersponies neopolitan pony! she's super cute and i just had to have this one.

Those are all fantastic! Peacock is so pretty and I still need Green Apple, too. I’ll have to be prepared to rehair.

peacock evaded me for so long! i had attempted to buy her three times before i purchased her from moonbreeze. seller cancelled, stopped replying, then old listing/no longer available, in that order. so i'm glad she finally came home :happyhearts:

A single color, at least, but she would probably look way better with some bright green ...considering her name!

I don't think I seen her on ebay. Most of the other discount singles have shown up.

Do you intend to stay stock colors @minticat?

mostly, but i had the same thought that some green would look nice. i'll probably just do a stripe with some hair i have left over from a different rehair.
 
well i didn't think i'd be updating this thread so soon but i hit the pony motherlode at a random antique mall my mom and i stopped at on our way home from michigan today.

about half of these will be new additions to my collection and I'll part with the rest when i get them cleaned up. they all need some TLC. but a fun big project for me!

edit to add this DVD i also found there, with my cat modeling since he insisted on watching me unpack my pony bag.

i hate when people price like this :confused: i've had to leave ponies behind just because they're so wildly priced. no, your peachy is not "rare"...
 
Baby Romperooni with already disintegrating hair = $20.

The person that prices the girls toy section is a doll collector and claims not knowing ponies. But some things carry over, damage, bad hair, stains, accessories.

Take advantage of your good sources to fill in missing ponies! It so much easier if you can handle what you're buying. And more fun.

Ugh. Yeah, that's disgusting. Similarly annoying is people using "Complete" as a search engine buzzword when something very much isn't. Honestly I should probably report it when I see that.

Anyway, nice hauls! Your herd has grown well.
 
well if i thought the bunch i had found in michigan was the motherlode uh....i'd be wrong.

i went to the flea market this morning with expectations of a G3 or two but not...THIS. a woman was there with her niece (who this collection belonged to) and they were selling it off for a good price– i asked what she wanted for all of it– i took home everything for $200. mostly everything is good condition and CLEAN. i am absolutely OVER THE MOON!!!! a lot of them will be staying with me, as new additions or upgrades– as for the rest, expect a sales thread from me later :winkpony:
