I recently bought Dipper, she's now been sun-fading for about a week, as she was full of yellow "highlighter" marks and her body was more beige than white She's now perfectly white again, but what the seller didn't mention: not only had someone written a previous owner's name on the bottom of the float (I could have lived with that), but also on the pony, right next to her mane! I now want to get rid of these pen marks, but sunfading doesn't seem to work. I've smeared Salon 40 Creme on the text on a daily basis, but it's still there. Has anyone had success in removing pen marks from a pony? She also has two blue (probably also pen) marks on her chest which haven't faded yet either.
I've already tried with a magic eraser and acetone-free nail polish remover. Acetone is on its way to me, so I'll try that next once it arrives.
