Repairs and restorations

Hi guys,

I thought I would make an ongoing thread for all the repairs I have and questions I want to ask lol

First off, a few symbol repairs on some g3 ponies. Not perfect, but still better than they were.



From the big pile of g1s I'm working on, first is Sundance. She has been sunbleached with salon 40 and rehaired. She still has some pin dot dirt or mould particularly on one foot. I've tried scraping with something but haven't had any success.




Next is Gingerbread. She has had the same treatments. She was quiet disgusting. I've used pony clippings to replace the blue that was missing.




And lastly Bouquet whos tails still works! She was also horridly discoloured.




I am just about to call it quits with cleaning up these girls. Do you think there are any final things I should do in cleaning them up? I haven't boiled them in ozyclean, but I tried that on a baby pony and could still not get the pindot stuff out.

I didnt even notice the g3 symbols were repaired until i went back and read it! Wonderful job! i wouldnt of even had known they were touched up!

I've had good success cleaning pindot mold by dunking the pony in very hot/near boiling water and then soaking the mold with a cotton ball drenched in hydrogen peroxide. Takes a few dunks and some patience (wear gloves!) but seemed to do the trick
