Trying to resist the urge to do the great unwrapping early is always such a challenge… I just can’t wait to see either! I hope the curls go well

Today’s the big day! The Great Unwrap! Here are her results, freshly unwrapped…

There is an obvious dodgy curl there that I was not happy about at all so I decided I’ll brush it all into one big curl instead. She looks much better this way

I also fixed that purple star. I still can’t seem to wrestle out those white pieces of thread. Nice closeup of the tail too…


Thank you for following Whishaway’s journey into being! I will make a more accurate version of her design using @Twinkle-eye ’s bases, as I did with Tundra. She sure did stray very far from her original design on the first post. That original design was one I did when I just couldn’t sleep and it was wayyyyy past midnight into the early hours anyway

To me, the curls feel a bit messy but the tail and front one… I feel it adds to character

The pose isn’t my favourite either but I think it works too. The name I think came from the pose, it’s like she’s going “swish” with her body and it sounds like “wish”! Swish away, Wishaway!
